Dynamic David Kearsey, the Business Whisperer at the MCEI Small Business Conference
We all know how jaded we can get by the end of a day long small business conference. MCEI wanted to make sure that didn’t happen as they wanted the delegates to be fresh and energetic for the marketing awards presentation which was to follow the small business conference.
So, as last speaker, at the end of the day, David Kearsey leapt onto the stage and gave a dynamic presentation that lifted the energy of the audience and set them firing on all cylinders.
“If you can’t find answers”, David challenged, “then maybe you’re asking the wrong questions.”
A Dual Act Shared Valuable Marketing Information at the MCEI Small Business Conference
Louise Schultze, The Advertising Doctor
Louise and Brenda participated in a lively presentation at the MCEI Small Business Conference about the importance of implementing the right marketing system for your business. This conference was held in conjunction with the MCEI Marketing Awards.
Louise reinforced the necessity for market research, before starting a business. “Too many people start businesses with a great idea, but don’t realise not many people can use it, afford it, have access to it, or understand it, and most end up never having heard about it” she said.
MAKING MILLIONS WITH NO COST – LOW COST MARKETING STRATEGIES
Since being a Finalist in the MCEI Marketing Awards, my businesses have continued to grow rapidly.
I flew to New York in November 2008 (I’d been selected as a finalist in the prestigious Stevie Awards for Women in Business) and I was honoured and thrilled to win Mentor of the Year, over and above some of the worlds most successful and outstanding business women.
This year alone I have launched a number of new programs and products;
1. The Inspired Spirit Coaching Academy (training others to be Law of Attraction Coaches);
Why Social Media is the New Black
We have all heard of the Social Media ‘buzz’ – but have you ever wondered ‘why’ you should be using social media? I bet at some stage you have thought ‘what’s the point?’ or you have considered that social media is a waste of time.
The MCEI Business Conference provides you with an opportunity to finally understand why there is such a ‘buzz’ around social media and why it is such a valuable online marketing tool.

Wendy Moore of Savvy Web Women and Ludwina Dautovic of The Red Tent Woman have successfully utilised social media as key elements in their online marketing strategy.
Become a Leader with a Strong Vision
David Kearsey, the ‘Speaker Whisperer’ understands that communicating a clear vision is one of the most important functions a business leader can perform.
David will motivate and inspire delegates at the MCEI Business Conference to go back to their businesses with a fresh and enthusiastic approach, ready to enthuse all those around them as they instigate some of the measures David will speak about.
David points out that leaders are often obsessed with their ideas, which appear visionary, and consequently “excite, stimulate, and drive other people to work hard and create reality out of fantasy”. However, they can often be unpredictable in style and create an atmosphere of change, transformation, and even chaos.
Pamper Yourself at the MCEI Business Conference!
Sometimes you find a business that produces something really special. When you do, it is often found to be a business working from a home base and totally concentrating on customer satisfaction. When found, you treat such a businesses like royalty!
You will find some of these businesses at the MCEI Business Conference and Mini Expo. One such business is Chocolate Appetite which is a family owned business, set up by partners Gaby and Dante Company. They make all their chocolate by hand.
Get Listed As Number One on Page One on Google Not Once – But 4 Times!
Business operators can spend thousands of dollars trying to get on page one on Google – but what if you could do this by yourself in just one month – or even one week – without spending a cent? Barbara Gabogrecan will demonstrate just how to do this at the MCEI Business Conference.
Barbara is a self confessed ‘dummy’ when it comes to technology. But she is pretty switched on when it comes to marketing. So when she discovered (after hundreds of hours research) a proven way to get results with page rankings and traffic she was determined to give it a go.
‘Making the Most of Networking On and Off Line’
How effective are the words you say on and offline?
We all know that words are a powerful way to communicate. However Robyn O’Connell of Silver Celebrants feels that, we rarely harness that power to its fullest potential.
Robyn is an eloquent and compelling speaker and will be running an interactive workshop for the delegates of the MCEI Business Conference and Mini Expo (as part of the MCEI Marketing Awards 2009).
“Two important web strategies you can use immediately on your business to cut your costs by up to 500%”
The MCEI Business Conference, Mini Expo and Marketing Awards combine to give you a
power packed day of information and extraordinary networking

Is Advertising Marketing?
Do you think advertising is a form of marketing?
Do you worry about where you should advertise and how much you should spend on advertising?
Louise Schultze (known as the Doc) will be discussing advertising and the ‘health problems’ advertisers suffer from. I believe she classifies me as suffering from AD1 (Advertising Deficit) because I think advertising is too expensive, and only for big corporate companies! She could be right…do you suffer from AD1 or AD2? And once diagnosed, what is the prognosis?
